Join us in Los Angeles for the first of several special events to launch Eva Verbeek's forthcoming book 'America’s Girls, On the Edge of a Dream' published by GOST this September.
This exhibition, brought together by Jemma Castiglione also titled America’s Girls brings together the work of four photographers whose practices are rooted in personal experience while engaging broader questions of identity and belonging.
Together throughout this exhibition, the artists offer their own perspectives on contemporary femininity, revealing the body not simply as an object to be viewed, but as a living archive where confidence, insecurity, resilience, and self-definition are continually negotiated. Their work positions individual experience as a lens through which larger cultural forces—and the evolving story of America’s girls—can be understood. Works by Eva will be on show with other artists including Mikayla Jean Miller, Kourtney Iman and Thalia Gochez.
Visit the show at 800 McGarry St, Los Angeles, CA from September 4-6. There will be a launch event on September 4, find out more here and to RSVP
